Combining the expertise of the service provider and the real life experiences of the service users has proved a valuable exercise. The feedback from the Guidance Staff at the participating schools has been very positive and encouraging.

We work very closely with the secondary schools in Clydesdale. Through these visits, using lesson plans, we discuss all aspects of mental health and well being with the pupils. Our aims are to increase awareness and reduce stigma.

Mrs C Martis, Depute Head Teacher of Strathaven Academy said:

"Everyone has been delighted with the input delivered by your team on Mental Health. Teachers have been stopping me in the corridors to remark in a very positive way about it. Pupils are paying far more attention to your input than anything we could have delivered ourselves, and your colleagues have been extremely informative and helpful. The information has been pitched at the correct level and is very thought provoking.
